Berryhill, age 85, of 1437 James Dr. in Celina, passed away at 12:57a.m. on Thursday April 19, 2012 at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert. He was born in Lima, Ohio on Oct.23, 1926 to the late Lloyd A. & Mary Ilo (Ayers) Berryhill. On March 8, 1955 he married Jane Greenwald, who lives in Celina. Also surviving is his daughter Kathy (Michael) Thompson of New Lexington, Ohio, Robert Berryhill of Celina, a grandson Robert (Marianela) Thompson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, two great grandchildren Michael R. Thompson and Tristan A. Thompson. Lloyd attended Lima Central High School then Joined the Army Air Corp and served his country during World War II. He Retired from US Airlines in 1986 and became a contract training instructor for two years, for US Airlines. He was an Auxiliary Police officer for the Zionsville Police Department in Indiana and a Charlotte County Sheriff as a Bailiff at the Charlotte County Court House. Lloyd was a member of the Celina American Legion Post #210 and the Celina V.F.W. Post #5713. He was member of the Charles F. Frank Masonic Lodge #760 F&AM of Indianapolis and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis and in the Flying Fezzes of the Shrine Association. He was a member of the Whites town OES #248 Eastern Star of Zionsville. Member of the Civil Air Patrol, MAM Academy of Model Aeronautics, R/C Celina Flying Sportsmen and the Airline Pilots Association. Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. on Friday April 20, 2012 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. James Menke officiating.
