Lester V. Tobe

Lester V. Tobe age 69 of Ft. Loramie, Ohio, died on Friday, June 28, 2024.  He was born on November 19, 1954, in Coldwater, OH to the late Cletus & Verena (Moeller) Tobe. On October 8, 1977, He married Kathy Schmiesing in St. Joseph Church, Egypt and she survives in Ft. Loramie.  He is also survived by children: Jeff & Anne Tobe, Loveland, OH,   Sara & Ryan Cahall, Milford, OH, 3 grandchildren, brothers & sisters: Robert & Jane Tobe, Ft. Recovery, Dan & Bernice Westgerdes, Minster, Kenneth & Grace Tobe, Ft. Recovery, Eleanor Hamilton, Huber Heights, Martin & Rose Tobe, Ft. Recovery, Cletus Tobe, Ft. Recovery, Patricia & Thomas Flaute, Maria Stein, David & Rita Tobe, Ft. Recovery, Margaret & Michael Bruggeman, Botkins, Susan & Micheal Thien, Ft. Recovery, Eric & LouAnn Tobe, Ft. Recovery, in-laws,  Joseph Langenkamp, Celina, Paul Schmiesing & Beth Berning, Egypt.  He was preceded in death by sister: Shirley Langenkamp and in-laws David Hamilton, along with his parents in-law Harvey & Viona Schmiesing. Lester was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Egypt, and the Men’s Sodality.  He was a Dairy Farmer for 37 years alongside with his father in-law. In retirement he worked for Car Quest and the Alan Rindler Farm.  He was a member of the Ohio Farm Bureau as well as Milky Way Council.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Egypt, burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 3 to 7 PM and on Wednesday, July 3 from 9:00 to 9:30 AM.
