LeRoy J. Piekenbrock age 75 of Homan Rd. Maria Stein, Ohio died at 1:15 PM on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at his home. He was born May 22, 1937 in St. Rose, Ohio to the late Edward & Stella (Prenger) Piekenbrock. He married Janice M. Clune on November 18, 1961 in Chickasaw, Ohio. She survives in Maria Stein. He is also survived by his children Karen & Dave Friar, Versailles, Ohio, Mark & Janel Piekenbrock, Westerville, Ohio, Dennis & Shelly Piekenbrock, Pickerington, Ohio, Brenda & Kevin Kuess, Coldwater, Ohio, 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren siblings, Ruth & Ken Bruns, St. Sebastian, Esther & Rich Heckman, Frenchtown, Edna & Alvin Tebbe, Yorkshire, Eva Gehret, Yorkshire, Linda & Larry Pleiman, Yorkshire, Eileen & Art Siefring, Burkettsville, Emily & Chuck Timmerman, Union City, Ohio, Erma & Bob Stump, Ft. Recovery, in-laws, Julie & Charles Pax, Cambridge, MD, Jane Clune, Huntsville, AL, Arnold & Pat Clune, Minster, John & Marilyn Clune, New Bremen, Richard & Sandy Clune, Celina, Kay & Roger Hoying, Ft. Loramie, Ed Clune, Maria Stein, Randy Clune & Mary Westgerdes, Chickasaw, Deb & Charles Riethman, Maria Stein. He was preceded in death by a great grandchild, brother-in-laws Joe Gehret, Lavern Clune, Paul Timmerman & Kathy Clune. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, St. Rose, Ohio, the men's sodality of the church, the Maria Stein American Legion and sexton at St. Rose Cemetery. He was a veteran of the US Army and a retired farmer, seed salesman and bus driver at Marion Local Schools. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 Friday, January 11, 2013 at St. Rose Catholic Church with Rev. Gene Schnipke Celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 10and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Friday, January 11.
