Leona Catherine Pleiman age 95 of 8261 Dawson Rd. Ft. Loramie, Ohio died at 2:35 PM on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Heritage Manor Nursing Center Minster, Ohio. She was born on March 21, 1919 in Cranberry Prairie, Ohio to the late Joseph A. & Philomena (Huwer) Quinter. She married Norbert Pleiman on April 30, 1940 in Ft. Loramie, Ohio. He preceded her in death on October 31, 1994. She is survived by children: Connie Kopp, Tipp City, Patricia Lallemand, Indianapolis, Linda & Roger Siegel, Ft. Loramie, Kenneth & Linda Pleiman, Ft. Loramie, Stanley & Nancy Pleiman, Ft. Loramie, Thomas & Jane Pleiman, Ft. Loramie, 25 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, brother Maurice & Dorothy Quinter, Ft. Loramie, sister Pauline Koehler, sister-in-laws Mary Ann Quinter, Ft. Loramie, and Lorena Pleiman, Dayton. She was preceded in death by son-in-law Dennis Lallemand, 4 great grandchildren, brothers & sisters Dorothy & Edwin Dresher, Henry & Florence Quinter, Rosella & Carl Ossege, Henrietta & Herbert Barlage, Adeline & Louis Huelsman, Rudolph & Agnes Quinter, Loretta & Cletus Huelsman, Albert & Dorothy Quinter, Stella & Donald Klikovits, Anthony Quinter, Edna & Thomas Lampert & Robert Quinter, brothers-in-law Leon Koehler, Roy Pleiman, Ray & Luetta Pleiman & sisters-in-law Hilda & Joseph Steinlage, Loretta & Louis Eilerman & Victoria & Ben Schultz. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Ft. Loramie with Rev. Steven Shoup celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Michael Cemetery.
