Leon J. Hein, age 93 formerly of St. Sebastian, Ohio, OH, died 01:15 PM on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Gardens at Celina, Ohio. He was born March 25, 1918 in Chickasaw Ohio to the late Henry and Clara (Ronnebaum) Hein. On February 20, 1943 he married Rosa E. (Liette) in Burkettsville, Ohio, and she died December 10, 1992. Leon is survived by five children, Diana & Leo Homan, Maria Stein, Ohio, Robert & Paula Hein, Celina, Ohio, Sandra & Jerry Braun, Celina, Ohio, Gale & Dennis Dellinger, Celina, Ohio and Tammy & Dean Klosterman, Celina, Ohio, 12 grandchildren, Todd, Shannon, Bart, Tonya, Jessica, Dustin, Melissa, Mandy, Andy, Brad, Carrie & Whitney, 32 great grandchildren, a brother Fred (Fritz) & Clara Jean Hein, Chickasaw, Ohio, a sister Marianne & Julius Siefring, Burkettsville, Ohio and five in laws, Kate Dues, St. Henry, Ohio, Margie Schmidt, Anna, Ohio, Charlene Pearson, Ft. Recovery, Ohio, Mary Liette, New Weston, Ohio and Clarine Liette, St. Henry, Ohio. He is also preceded in death three grandchildren, Tana, Joe and Chandee Homan, a great-granddaughter Sarah Klosterman and two sisters Wilma Bergman and Leona Steinlage. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Montezuma, Ohio, Mens Society at St. Sebastian Church, Coldwater Eagles and a social member of Chickasaw, V.F.W. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Montezuma, Ohio with Fr. Rick Friebel C.PP.S., officiating. Burial will follow in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Celina Ohio. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater on Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
