Leokadia Poplaski, age 86, of Celina, Ohio passed awayat 6:10p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Celina Manor Nursing Home Celina, Ohio. She was born on February 18, 1927 in Budzyn Chodzierz, Poland , to the late Stanislaw "Stanley" and Zofia "Sophie" (Gorzna) Gaszczak. Leokodia is survived by her sister Anna Suchodomska of Poland and a niece Zofia Jarochiewicz of Poland. She was preceded in death by her son, three brother and three sisters. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina and she became a Naturalized Citizen on June 25, 1976. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30a.m. on Friday May 31, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Kenneth G. Alt C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina. Memorial contributions may be made to the I.C. Endowment Fund. Condolences may be made at LHDfuneralhome.com.
