Lawrence J. Heckler, age 52, of Channel Dr, Celina OH, died on Wednesday, May 04, 2011 at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, Ohio. He was born July 01, 1958 in Celina Ohio to Albert and Anna Rita (Mestemaker) Heckler of Celina, Ohio. On October 16, 1982 he married Lori (Niekamp) in Celina, Ohio and she survives. Larry is survived by parents, wife, two brothers Dr. Thomas (Cherie) Heckler of Lima, Ohio and Ralph (Marsha) Heckler of St. Marys, Ohio, a sister Roseann Heckler of Coldwater, Ohio, father & mother-in-law Cyril & Roberta Niekamp of Celina, Ohio, a brother-in-law Chris Niekamp of Wapakoneta, Oho, a nephew Jeff and three nieces Abby, Christine & Elizabeth. He wa a member of Our Lady of Gudalupe Catholic Church, Montezuma, Ohio, Celina Moose Lodge and Southshore Sportsmans Club. He worked for the Ohio Department of Transportation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 AM on Saturday, May 07, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Montezuma, Ohio with Fr. James Dugal, officiating. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery, Montezuma Ohio. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater on Friday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
