Kenneth J. Wenning age 71 of McCartyville, Ohio died 2:15 PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster, Ohio. He was born August 21, 1942 in Chickasaw, Ohio to the late Joseph & the late Josephine (Depweg Moeller) Wenning. He married Marceil L. "Marcy" Schmackers on September 14, 1963 in St. Henry, Ohio. She preceded him in death on October 14, 2002. He then married Barbara Feltz Boeckman on August 5, 2006. She survives in McCartyville. He is also survived by children Joseph & Terri Wenning, Kalida, Ohio, Jeffery & Tamara Wenning, Arcanum, Ohio, Scott Wenning, North Carolina, Patrick & Leigh Anne Wenning, Sidney, Ohio, Sheri & Kevin Pohlman, Maria Stein, Timothy Boeckman, Osgood, Stacy & Brent Bruggeman, McCartyville, Toby Boeckman, St. Marys, Stephanie Boeckman, St. Marys, daughter-in-law Theresa Boeckman, Coldwater, 18 Grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brothers & sisters, Mark & Joan Wenning, St. Henry, Bernice Barge, Montezuma, Madonna & Joseph Rose, Coldwater, sisters-in-law Alberta Wenning, Coldwater, Betty Wenning, Coldwater. He was preceded in death by son Ty Boeckman, brothers & sisters Julietta & Ralph Muhlenkamp, Isadore Wenning, Norbert Wenning, Rita & Dick Wenning, Hilda & Carl Axe, Fred & Alma Moeller, Martha & H.F. Rawley, Rose Mary & Cornelius Muhlenkamp, Louis & Mary Moeller, Virginia & Harry Streacker, sister-in-law Velma Wenning, brother-in-law Ralph Barge. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, Ohio where he was on the Mission Commission and a volunteer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the American Legion, Minster, F.O.E. #1391 Minster & the McCartyville Knights of Columbus. He retired from Crown Equipment, New Bremen. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 Friday, September 27, 2013 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville with Rev. John Tonkin celebrant. Friends may call at the SACRED HEART OF JESUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, McCartyville from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, Sept. 26 and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Friday, Sept 27.
