Kenneth A. Evers

Kenneth A. Evers, age 66, of Bryant, Indiana, died at his home on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 of an apparent heart attack. He was born May 11, 1948 in Celina, Ohio, to the late Roman & Mildred (Arling) Evers. He is survived by brothers and sisters, Patricia & Jim Koesters of Springboro, Bill Evers of St. Henry, Sharon & Dale Uhlenhake of St. Henry, Mike & Ann Evers of St. Henry, Joyce & Steve Johnsman of Coldwater, Frank & Tammy Evers of St. Henry, Nick & Pam Evers of New Bremen, Diann & Greg Kopilec of Ft. Myers, Florida and Randy & Janet Evers of St. Henry, and a sister-in-law Rose Evers of St. Henry. He was also preceded in death by brothers Ron & Sam Evers. He was a Veteran of the US Army and a 1966 graduate of St. Henry High School. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Portland, Indiana. Ken retired from Berne Redi-Mix in December. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Carthagena with Fr. Robert Moran, officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Hogenkamp Funeral Home-St. Henry.
