Kenneth J. Bergman, age 72, of Celina, died on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at his home. He was born March 8, 1941, in Osgood to the late Albert L. & Lidwina (Stelzer) Bergman. He married Melody (Weis) on September 17, 1999, and she survives in Celina. He is also survived by three children, Lisa McNeilan & Jon Trisel of Celina, Amy & Brian Kremer of Coldwater, and Scott Bergman & Rashell Bigelow of Celina, four step-children, Dave & Jan Rindler of Berne, Indiana, and Mike & Julie Rindler, Ann & Tom Risner and Rob Rindler all of Coldwater, 3 grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren, 8 step-great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Pat & Arnie Clune of Minster, Dennis Bergman of Coldwater, Tom & Charlene Bergman of Greenville, Paul & Shirley Bergman of Westerville, Charles & Sue Bergman of Winter Grove, Florida, Harold & Jean Bergman of Minster, Doris & Mike Schultz of St. Henry, Louis & Mary Bergman of Greenville, Rosie & Mike Pearson of Versailles and Karen & Don Luthman of Madeira, father-in-law, Albert Weis, in-laws, Victoria Cournoyer of Cincinnati, Robyn & Bruce Ganger of Celina, Stephanie & Dave Newbauer of Botkins, Ronnie Weis of St. Marys and Kimberley Myers of St. Louis, Missouri, and 25 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra (Desch) Rindler-Bergman in 1997, a sister-in-law, JoAnn Bergman, a godson, Kurt Bergman, mother-in-law, Arbeula (King) Weis and in-laws, Carol Weis, Dawn Junod and Cynthia Weis. He worked at New Idea, Coldwater for 34 years and Crown Equipment of 5 years, served for 8 years in the Ohio National Guard and was a graduate of St. Henry High School. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, American Legion Post 470, Coldwater, V.F.W. Post 5713, Celina, Loyal Order of Moose - Lodge 1473, Celina, and the Coldwater Eagles. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial with military rites will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
