Kenneth C. Albers age 54 of Minster died on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at his residence. He was born on October 20, 1960 in St. Marys, Ohio to the late Ralph & Rosemary C. (Riethman) Albers. His mother survives in New Bremen. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters; David & Brenda Albers, New Bremen, Thelma & Randy Huelsman, Minster, Mike & Peg Albers, Cassella, Bonnie & Kevin Steinemann, Minster, Elaine & Jerry Berning, McCartyville, Luke & Sue Albers, Minster, Neil Albers, New Bremen, Leon Albers & friend Barb Sims, brother-in-law Jerry Timmerman, 22 nieces & nephews and 26 great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, sister, Margie Timmerman, nephews Brian & Cory Albers and great niece Hannah Lause. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, New Bremen. He participated in the Special Olympics and loved bowling and putting puzzles together. He was employed at Auglaize Industries and helped out on the family farm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, New Bremen with Rev. Thomas Mannebach Celebrant. Burial will take place in German Protestant Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 2 to 8 PM on Friday and from 9 to 10 AM on Saturday. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Auglaize Industries.
