Kathy S. Barhorst, age 54, of 4569 St. Anthony Rd., Coldwater, Ohio, died at 4:20 PM on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Kettering Medical Center, Dayton, Ohio. She was born April 17, 1957 in Coldwater, Ohio to Richard & Ruth (Weigel) Wellman, and her father survives in Coldwater. On November 06, 1981 she married Dale Barhorst in Trinity, Indiana, and he survives in Coldwater, Ohio. She is also survived by two daughters, Carrie & Ryan Lamm of Celina, Ohio and Katie Barhorst & Fiance Nick Bruns of Coldwater, Ohio, five brothers, Tom & Mary Lou Wellman of Chicago, Illinois, Ken & Karen Wellman of Portland, Indiana, Ed & Linda Wellman of Bryant, Indiana, Tim Wellman of Decatur, Indiana and Rick & Becky Wellman of Selma, Indiana, and a sister, Patty & Kevin Price of Decatur, Indiana, parents-in-laws, Joe & Wilma Barhorst, Coldwater, Ohio, sisters & brothers-in-law, Diane Stromblad, Coldwater, Ohio, Joyce & Steve Koesters, St. Henry, Ohio, Donna & Rick Hemmelgarn, Coldwater, Ohio, Lynn & Jake Bruggeman, St. Henry, Ohio and 37 nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, two sisters, Connie and Becky, and a sister-in-law Jill Wellman. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and worked at Workflow One in Coldwater. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 26, 2011 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio with Fr. Richard Walling, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater, Ohio. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
