Kathleen "Kate" Bergman age 80 of 8635 Erie Dr. Maria Stein died at 9:19 PM on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at OSU Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. She was born January 5, 1932 in Versailles Ohio to the late Bernard & Victoria (Pleiman) Schulze. She married Eugene Bergman on June 20, 1956 in Osgood, Ohio. He survives in Maria Stein, Ohio. She is also survived by children Linda & Steve Moelller, Maria Stein, Randy & Linda Bergman, Maria Stein, Jay & Pam Bergman, Montezuma, Jody & Rick Gerlach, St. Henry, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, sisters Elsie & Ralph Winner, Osgood, Mary Ann Knapke, New Bremen, brothers-in-law Norb Schlater, Versailles & Bill Miller, New Bern, NC, sister-in-law Jo & Bob Albers, North Star. She was preceded in death by sisters Vera Schlater, Ginny Miller & brother Bernard (Bud) Schulze. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein, the Ladies Sodality of the Church, she volunteered at Marion Local Schools and at the Spiritual Center of Maria Stein. She was a homemaker and an avid Marion Local Flyer fan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein with Rev. Thomas Brenberger celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 13, and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 14.
