Judy S. (Francis) Monnin, age 81, of Russia, Ohio, died on Friday, May 22, 2026 in Dayton, Ohio. She was born on January 17, 1945 in Russia, Ohio to the late Wilmer & Cora (Kelch) Francis. She married Anthony “Tony” Monnin on January 15, 1966 in Russia, Ohio. He preceded her in death. She is survived by her children: Bart Monnin, Stryker, Ohio, Leah & Brian Dershem, Russia, Mindy & Jeff Thobe, Russia, Richard Monnin, Russia, Thad & Jenny Monnin, Russia, Cory & Cassandra Monnin, Russia, 15 grandchildren and 1 deceased, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, siblings: Carolyn Barga, Versailles, Larry & Barb Francis, Russia, Linda & Tom Monnin, Russia. in-laws: Betty & Ron Eiting, Minster, Ken Monnin, Minster, Victor & Wanda Monnin, Russia, Diane Monnin, Russia, Dan Monnin, Versailles, Wilson & Peg Monnin, Sidney, Mike & Connie Monnin, Russia, Dale Marchal, Englewood. She was preceded in death by siblings: Jean & John Magoto, in-laws: Janet Monnin, Theresa Monnin, Jim Barga, Joseph Monnin, Richard Monnin, Rose Marchal, Lenny Monnin. Judy was a 1963 Russia High School graduate. She volunteered at Wilson Hospital, Johnston Farms and she was a Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed spending her time with family and sewing. Judy and Tony took in exchange students throughout the years; Stig Meyer, Katrin Hornbach, Leo Botello, Alexandra Keiser, Daria Neff & Fabian Bischof. She was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia, Ohio.
