Judith Ann Hemmelgarn

Judith Ann (Gudorf) Hemmelgarn,  77 years old of Cincinnati, Ohio died on the 23rd day of September, 2023.  She was born May 14, 1946 in Minster, Ohio to the late Leonard and Lucille (Berning) Gudorf.

She is survived by: Son, Tony (Kristine) Hemmelgarn and daughters Angie Hemmelgarn and Jody Bergman, all of Cincinnati, Ohio, her dog Rudy, 9 grandchildren, Zach (Elyse) Boyer, Adam Boyer, Jackie (Anthony) Quintero, Ben & Camryn Hemmelgarn, Brenna & Jack Bergman, Maddie & Margot Swartz, 4 great grandchildren, Emery, Brody and Greyson Boyer, Luca Quintero, 3 siblings, Joan (Bill, deceased) McCullough of Medina, Ohio, Jeannie and Alan Lowe of Ft Myers, FL, Jim and Karen Gudorf, Dayton, OH as well as many Nieces, Nephews and Friends.

Judy graduated from Minster High School in 1964.  She worked as a Nurse for many years with Dr Nicanor Atillo in Minster.  She was a licensed Real Estate Agent working with Cisco and Kuck Realty where she became the local lake expert at Grand Lake St Marys.  She was a 1 Million Dollar Producer, OAR President, member of WRIST, Ohio Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors and Lake Improvement Association.

Judy most cherished her Children, Grandchildren, Family, Rudy and many dear Friends.  She loved art, music, the casino and living at the Lake!  More than anything, she was most happy entertaining, boating and hanging out at the Rustic while living the lake life with the people she loved.  She made life a party and she did it her way!

A ceremony of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, October 6 at the St Augustine Cemetery in Minster, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family would appreciate donations being made to the City Gospel Mission of Cincinnati where she enjoyed serving the homeless or the Lake Improvement Association of St Marys. If you get the chance, she also asked that you drop a flower in the channel at the Rustic Haven in her memory.
