She was born on January 30, 1944 in Celina , Ohio to the late Franklin E. & Rita C. (Fischer) Wise.
On Dec. 15th 1979 she married Sam Dixon, who also died on Feb. 13, 2014.
Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law Nick & Kris Thomas of Findlay, Collin & KerrI Thomas of Van Wert, daughter & son-in-law Rhonda & Kirk Slough of Arlington, father of her children Ronnie Thomas of Arlington, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brother James & Anne Wise of Akron and her sisters & brothers-in-law Becky & Doc Wimmers of Chicago, IL., Jane Wilkins of Celina, Robert "Chico" Weber of Celina and sisters "in-law Barbara Wise of Troy and Brenda Wise of Texas. Also surviving are her step children: Sam K. & Laura Dixon of Corona, CA, Randy & Angie Dixon of Cincinnati, and Teresa Roberts of St. Marys, and 4 step grandchildren.
Judith was preceded in death by her brothers Franklin (Skip) Wise, Michael Wise, and her sister Barbara Weber.
She was formerly employed at the Wilson Shoe Store in Celina, Huffy's in Celina, and Mercer County Mental Health (Foundations). She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Celina.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m. on Monday Feb. 17, 2014 at the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina, with Rev. Jeff Gramza officiating. Friends may call from 2-6p.m. on Sunday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina.
