Joseph V. Tangeman

Joseph V. Tangeman, age 59, of Gahanna, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital, Columbus. He was born November 23, 1954 in Coldwater, to the late Vincent Tangeman and Mary Kay (Hein) Tangeman, who survives in Dayton. He is also survived by four siblings, Jim & Tammy Tangeman of Columbus, Kathy & John Dues of Brookville, Mary Lou & Dick Langenkamp of New Bern, North Carolina, and Donna & Randy Hoyng of Tipp City, 12 nieces and nephews and 21 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, a sister-in-law Deb Tangeman and three great nephews. He was a member of St. Matthew Church, Gahanna, volunteered with the St. Matthew Charitable Works Ministry and was an Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns fan. He worked at the former New Idea, Coldwater and Value City in Columbus. Joseph was a tissue donor. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 3 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, and from 12:30 to 1:30 PM on Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Condolences may be left at www.hogenkampfh.com.
