Joseph E. Oldiges

Joseph E. Oldiges age 50 of Minster died at 1:50 PM on November 13, 2017 at his home in Minster, Ohio.  He was born on January 25, 1967 in St. Marys, Ohio. He is survived by his father & step mother Tom & Judy Oldiges & his mother & step father Bonita (Schwieterman) & David Becker. He is also survived by his brothers & sisters: Linda & Mike Luebke, Bellefontaine, Lisa & Terry Griner, Minster, Theresa & Don Luebke, Minster, Dan & Linda Oldiges, Carmel, IN, Matt & Krista Oldiges, McCartyville and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a sister Mary Ann Oldiges, grandparents Edward & Margaret Oldiges and Harry & Anna Schwieterman. Joe was a member of St, Augustine Church, Minster and worked at the family Business, Axis Corporation for 30+ years, at RTC Industries in Bellefontaine and recently at We Can Too, St. Marys.  He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, doing puzzles, dancing and going to sporting events.   Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Ohio, with Rev. Rick Nieberding, celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.  Friends may call at Hogenkamp Funeral Home Minster from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 17, and from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM on Saturday, November 18.
