Joseph E. Meyer age 72 Formerly of Hanover St. Minster Died Sunday May 29, 2011 in Rockford, OH at The Colonial Nursing Home. he was born November 12, 1938 in Minster to Joseph and Henrietta(Alternatt)Meyer. He is Survived by His siblings Vernon Meyer of Ft. Loramie, OH; Cleona Wyen of Minster, OH; Lawrence and Helen Meyer of McCartyville; and Viola and Maurice Bornhorst of Minster and a sister in-law Phyllis Peoppelman of Egypt, OH. He was preceeded in death by 2 sisters Wilma Ernst and Irene Schmiesing, 2 Brothers Kenneth Meyer and John Meyer and four infant siblings. Joe was a member of St. Augustine Church Minster Retired from LeRoi Corp. of Sidney and Enjoyed Motorcycling and Hunting. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Augustine Church in Minster Rev. Rick Nieberding and Rev. Larry Wyen Celebrants burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM Wednesday and 9:00 AM Till 9:30 AM Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
