John William Sutton, age 44, of Coldwater, died peacefully at his home Saturday morning, September 20, 2014. He was born July 23, 1970 in Tacoma, Washington, to Irving & Patricia (Morrison) Sutton who both survive in Toledo, Ohio. He married Jennifer (Bruns) on February 15, 1997 in Coldwater, Ohio and she survives in Coldwater with their three children, Gage, Gabriella & Graden. Other survivors are siblings Tracey Sutton of Hamilton, Brian & Rachel Sutton of Toledo, parents in law Daniel & Martha Bruns of Coldwater, in laws Ted & Becky Bruns of Versailles, Jackie & Bill Buschur of St. Henry, Aaron Bruns of Coldwater and 12 nieces and nephews. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater and worked as a designer for Safeway Packaging. John loved being a member of CrossFit and also enjoyed golf and hiking. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and had extraordinary creative talents. He was a brave, positive and gentle fighter during his life and battle with cancer. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 24 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Wednesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
