John N. Fritz, age 87, of 211 Hillcrest Dr., Coldwater, Ohio, died on Monday, February 06, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. He was born December 25, 1924 in Versailles, Ohio to the late David & Clara (Schwierking) Fritz. On July 03, 1948 he married Whilma (Magoteaux) in Versailles, Ohio, and she died August 24, 2010. He is survived by a son, Mark & Joyce Fritz of Coldwater, Ohio, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and brothers and sisters, Walter Fritz of Reedsburg, Wisconsin, Lloyd & Avesta Fritz of Ansonia, Ohio, Donald & Donna Fritz of Greenville, Ohio, Clifford & Frances Fritz of Bradford, Ohio, Carol Fritz of Piqua, Ohio, Rita Fritz of Greenville, Ohio, and David Clarence & Barbara Fritz of Greenville, Ohio and a sister-in-law, Judy Fritz of Greenville, Ohio. He is preceded in death by a son, David Fritz, brothers and sisters, Loretta & Alton Millet, Edwin & Fay Fritz, Anna Belle & Gene Brewer and Robert Fritz. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Coldwater Eagles. He served in the US Army during World War II and was a memer of the Coldwater V.F.W. and American Legion. John retired from the former New Idea Plant in Coldwater. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio with Fr. Barry Stechschulte, officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater, Ohio.
