John Dale Tangeman

John Dale Tangeman, age 95, of Coldwater, died Saturday, June 11, 2016 at his home. He was born May 25, 1921 in Coldwater to the late John Henry & Mary Josephine (Pohl) Tangeman. On October 10, 1944 he married Mildred Mae (Hein) and she survives in Coldwater.  He is survived by five children, Jacquelyn (Jerry) Stumpf of Indianapolis, IN, Frank (Deb) Tangeman of Celina, Rebecca (John) Burnett of Union City, Patricia Smith of Sioux City, IA and Michael (Lorraine) Tangeman of Minster; 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren He is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. He was a lifetime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and was a retired truck driver. Dale enjoyed attending concerts, traveling, Cavalier and OSU football games and visiting with his friends at Home Service, Werling Motors, Northtown Marathon, Pla-Mor Lanes and CBS  Automotive all in Coldwater. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Wednesday June 15, 2016 at Holy Trinity Church. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday and 9 to 10 am Wednesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Church. Condolences can be left at hogenkampfh.com.
