Joan I. Reigelsperger, age 83, of Coldwater, died Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater. She was born April 18, 1935 in St. Henry, to the late Ray & Hilda (Schulte) Heitkamp. On August 20, 1955 she married Louie Reigelsperger and he died November 27, 1991. She is survived by her children, Linda & Kurt McAfee, Deb & Mark Schroyer, Jodie & Steve Lange and Sandy Collinsworth all of Coldwater; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; siblings and in-laws, Ivo & Mildred Heitkamp of St. Henry, Mary Alice Ahrns of Cassella, Thelma Heitkamp of St. Marys, Rose Ann & Ivo Schmidt of Coldwater, Dorothy & Art Brunswick of Beavercreek, Charlene & Donald Mikesell of Greenville, Ruth Frantz of Kettering, Alvin & Linda Heitkamp Coldwater, Daniel Heitkamp of Dayton and Rita Reigelsperger of Unioplois. Joan is preceded in death by siblings and in-laws Lucille & Kenneth Kessen, Lavern Heitkamp, Louis Heitkamp, David Heitkamp, Julius Ahrns, Mary Ann & Victor Schmackers, Tillie Brandt, Paul Reigelsperger, Clarence & Alma Reigelsperger and Urban & Jean Reigelsperger. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the St. Ann Altar Rosary Sodality, and retired from Hemmelgarn’s in Philothea. Joan was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and caregiver, she enjoyed spending time with her family and playing cards. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 PM on Thursday and 9 to 10 am on Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
