Joan M. Keefrey

Joan M. Keefrey, age 88, of St. Henry, died on January 12, 2015 at the Gardens at St. Henry. She was born July 31, 1926 in Celina, to the late Harvey & Idabelle (Creeden) Stout. On October 22, 1949, she married Dr. John R. Keefrey, and he died February 28, 1986. She is survived by a brother, Robert & Edna Stout of St. Henry, nephews, Ronald & Judy Stout, William & Linda Stout and James & Linda Stout, all of St. Henry, a niece, Rebecca & William Stalder of Harbor Springs, Michigan and many great-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a brother, James Stout and a sister-in-law, Helen Stout. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Celina I.C., completed her Nurses training in Phoenix, Arizona in 1947, and worked with her husband as an RN at St. Joe Hospital in Phoenix. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am Saturday, January 17, 2015 at St. Henry Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Celina. Friends may call from 9:00 to 9:45 am on Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Hospice. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
