Joan F. Overman age 73 of Celina, Ohio formerly of Maria Stein died at 6:16 PM on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born on July 25, 1941 in Lewisburg, Ohio to the late Clyde & Leto Virginia (Coffman) Brower. She married Otmar L. Overman on June 24, 1967. He preceded her in death on November 6, 2009. She is survived by son Stephen & Cindy Overman, Maria Stein and daughter Nicole Overman, St. Marys, 2 granddaughters Vanessa & Adellyn, sister in-law Belen Brower, Union City, CA, Alma Overman, Dayton, Dorothy Gerlach, St. Henry, Louis & Joan Overman, Maria Stein, Marilyn & Bill Braun, Columbus. She was preceded in death by brothers Bud Brower, Ronnie Brower & Fred Brower, in-laws, Linus Overman, Viola & Norbert Dippold, Alvina & Ben Hemmelgarn, Richard & Alma Overman, Cy & Betty Overman & Norbert Gerlach. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein the Ladies Sodality of the Church and of Mercer County Council on Aging. She loved gardening and flowers. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, January 30, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein with Rev. Tom Brenberger celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 29, 2015 and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Friday, January 30, 2015.
