Jerome J. Winner

Jerome J. Winner, age 81, of Coldwater, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater. He was born February 24, 1935, in Sharpsburg, to the late Alex & Alma (Schoen) Winner. On July 10, 1954, he married Rita (Muhlenkamp), who survives in Coldwater.  He is also survived by four children, Mike & Joyce Winner of Coldwater, Bob & Kathy Winner of Minster, Don & Miriam Winner of Coldwater and Cathy & Lee Owens of Celina, ten grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, a brother, Kenny Winner of Sidney, and in-laws, Kenny Schlater of Burkettsville and Bill & Sue Muhlenkamp of Celina. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Schlater. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater, the Coldwater Knights of Columbus Council #1991, volunteered for the Holy Trinity Food Pantry and Maria Stein Relic Chapel. Jerry loved and enjoyed his family and their activities. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Friends may call from 1:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday and 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
