Jeffrey L. "Bit" Bitler age 59 on 235 S. Frankfort St. Minster, Ohio died 4:08 PM Saturday, September 14, 2013 at his home. He was born on August 14, 1954 in St. Marys to the late John & late Lucille Bitler. He married Ruth Kramer on November 5, 1977 in Burkettsville, Ohio. She survives in Minster, Ohio. He is also survived by son Dan & Treva Bitler, Bellbrook, Ohio, daughter Nikki & T.C. Wilges, Minster, Ohio, grandchildren Avery, Nolan & Lila, brothers John Bitler, Montpelier, Ohio, James & the late Deborah Bitler, Celina, Ohio, Tom Bitler, California. He was an honorary member of the late Ted & Norma Purpus family. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Minster F.O.E. #1391, and a member and former Golf Committee member at Arrowhead Golf Club. He retired from Progress Tool in April. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 Friday, September 20, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday September 19, 2013 and from 9:00 to 9:30 AM on Friday, September 20.
