Jean Liesner age 63 of Chickasaw died 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at her home. She was born on February 18, 1950 in St. Sebastian, Ohio to the late Richard & Imelda (Schoenherr) Heckman. She married Frank Liesner on October 14, 1972 in St. Sebastian. He survives in Chickasaw. She is also survived by daughter Kristina Poff, St. Marys and son Michael & Anisha Liesner, Columbus, grandchildren Braeden Liesner & Morgan Poff, brothers & sisters, Werner & Elaine Heckman, Maria Stein, Mary Ann & Vern Bohman, Russia, Karen & Roger Evers, Celina, Jan & Jeff Gottschalk, Minster, Paul & Annette Heckman, Maria Stein, sister-in-law Bonnie & Gary Garrison. She was preceded in death by brother Tom Heckman. She was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw, Ladies Sodality, Mercer County Right to Life and a CCD teacher. She did Medical Research and fund raising for L.A.M. Foundation and medical research for the National Institutes of Health. She worked at Spoltman's Hardware & Chickasaw Post Office. She was studying interior design before her illness. She loved her grandchildren, reading, making blankets and taking her grandson on golf cart rides and socializing. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 Monday, December 30, 2013 at Precious Blood Catholic Church with Fr. Tom Brenberger celebrant. Burial will take place in Precious Blood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, December 29, 2013 and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Monday, December 30.
