Jane A. Monnin

Jane A. Monnin age 72 of Tipp City, Ohio died at 1:11 PM on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Kettering Medical Center.  She was born on May 23, 1949 to the late James & Mary (Peltier) Simon. She married Gery Monnin on June 28, 1969 at St. Remy Catholic Church in Russia, Ohio.  He survives in Tipp City. She is also survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Jyle & Chris Johnson, Teri & Dwayne Puthoff, Jaime & Brandon Hilling, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brothers & sister: David (deceased) & Becky Simon, John & Mary Ann Simon, Bill & Elizabeth Simon, Tom & Wilma Simon, Tim & Peg Simon, Edward & Erm (deceased) Simon, Jerald Simon, Susan & Lowell Wolaver, Steve & Gail Simon.  Jane was born & raised in Russia, Ohio and was baptized & married at St. Remy Church.  She enjoyed gardening, traveling, camping and her most recent hobby pickleball.  She had a deep and abiding love for Jesus and loved spending time with family and friends.   Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, January 28, 2022 St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia.  Burial will take place in St. Remy Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Russia from 4 to 6 PM on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Due to the current circumstances the family understands if you are more comfortable sending a card or prayer in lieu of viewing.
