Jane E. Couchot

Jane E. Couchot age 61, of Houston died Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at James Medical Center, Columbus.  She was born March 23, 1960 in Shelby County to the late Kenneth Couchot and Jean (Schneider) Couchot who survives in Ft. Loramie. She is also survived by the children she raised Aaron (Adela) Arthur of Sidney, Ann Arthur of Gulfport, MS, Shelly Knick of Piqua and Kelly Hill of Engelwood; six grandchildren; special friend Tony Mescher of Sidney and siblings Carl, Wayne, Mark and Lester Couchot all of Piqua. She is also preceded in death by a daughter Lori Arthur, sister Susan Arthur and brother John Couchot. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Newport. Jane enjoyed playing cards, shooting pool and playing bingo.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at SS Peter & Paul Church.  Burial will follow in Shelby Memorial Gardens, Sidney. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Russia on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
