Jane I. Busse age 87 of 2B Greenhills Dr. Minster, OH, died Tusday May 28, 2013 at her residence following a short illness. She was born June 23, 1925 in Minster to Fred and Gladys (Murphy) Dorsten, they preceeded her in death. She was married June 7, 1947 in Minster to Vernon "Bud" Busse who died April 8, 2004. Jane is survived by her children Thomas and Carolyn Busse of Cincinnati; Jill and Doug Jennings of Dayton; Joan and Michael Buschur of New Weston and Lisa Chaffee, of St. Louis, MO. A son Bruce is deceased, his wife Annette Busse survives in Cleveland. Jane is also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchldren and 1 granchild is deceased. She was the last of her family deceased siblings include 2 sisters Mary Hartman and Enid Bernhold and 4 brothers who died in childhood Fred, John, Lavonne and Drexel Dorsten. Jane was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Former member of the church Mission Commission, F O E 1391 Ladies Aux. and a former Girl Scout and Boy Scout Leader. She was a 1943 graduate of Minster High School and graduated from Good Samaritan Hospital as a registered nurse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Monday June 3, 2013 at St. Augustine Church, Rev. Rick Nieberding Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call From 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday and 9:00 AM until 9:30 AM Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
