James C. Wagner, age 70, of Celina, died Thursday March 5, 2015 at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. He was born December 18, 1944 in Celina to the late Howard Wagner and Mary (Muhlenkamp) Wagner-Kriegel. On November 26, 1966, he married Susan (Doenges), and she survives in Celina. He is also survived by four children, Charles & Sara Wagner of Celina, Christopher & Tina Wagner of Coldwater, Cheryl & Todd Westgerdes of Coldwater and Curt Wagner of Celina, sixteen grandchildren, Garrett, Galen, Kyla, Gavin, Katie, Gage, Gregory, Tabitha, Howard, Evelyn, Martin, Nicole, Joetta, Jesica, James, and Julia, brothers and sisters, Betty & Mike Heckler of Coldwater, Dave & Diane Wagner of Celina and Nancy & Joe Nerderman, Albuquerque, New Mexico, step-siblings, John & Betty Kriegel of Troy, Michigan, Charles & Linda Kriegel of West Carrollton, Charlene (Greg Carttar) Harner of Missouri and Bill & Bea Kriegel of Celina and in-laws, Marge Wagner of Celina, Andrew & Jan Doenges of New Bremen, Joseph & Sharon Doenges of Sugarland, Texas, Fran & Mick Hanselman of Ashtabula, William Doenges of St. Marys, Mark & Terri Doenges of Wapakoneta, Rita & Ralph Tobe of Coldwater, Greg & Carol Doenges of Philothea, Therese & Bill Pohlman of Versailles, Edward & Marge Doenges of New Bremen, Kathleen & Rob Tucker of Harrisburg, Virginia, Barb Doenges of Miami, Florida, Jeff (Dmitri) Doenges of Bethesda, Maryland and Amy & Shawn Brady of Springboro. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Wagner and in-laws, Nancy & Patrick Fitzgerald and Edith Doenges. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina and the Knights of Columbus. He worked at S & K Products, Celina for over 50 years, was a member of the Western Square Dancers, was an avid gardener and loved flowers. He also took great pride in exterior holiday decorating and an extensive ceramic village display for Easter, Fall, and Christmas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church, Celina, with Fr. Kenneth Alt, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Celina. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater on Monday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
