James H. Smith age 62, a resident of Sidney, Ohio and formerly of Minster, OH died Tuesday January 15, 2013 at Kindred Hospital in Lima, OH. He was born December 18, 1950 in Dayton, OH to Adolph and Loraine (Balling) Smith. He was preceeded in death by his father and his mother survives and lives in Tipp City, OH. Also surviving are siblings Patricia and William Whipp of Tipp City; LeRoy and Connie Smith of Laura, OH; Diana and Bert Sherman of Urbana, OH and Mike and Roxann Smith of New Bremen, OH. James was amember of St. Augustine Church Minster and had been employed at Hoying and Westerheide Hardware Minster, Shelby County WMCA and S & H Products, Sidney. A Mass of Chrisitian Burial will be held at 3:00 PM Friday January 18, 2013 at St. Augustine Church, Rev. Rick Nieberding Presider. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster. Memorials may be made to Shelby Hills Sidney. Condolence may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
