James Edward Ross, age 72, of 926 Chestnut St. in Celina, passed away at 9:40 a.m. on Tuesday February 14, 2012 at his residence in Celina. James was born on Dec. 12, 1939 in Coldwater, Ohio to the late Franklin & Margaret (Orr) Ross. On Aug. 5, 1959 he married Brenda Gibson, who lives in Celina. Also surviving are his sons Robert Ross of Celina, John Ross of Celina, daughter Catherine & Dave King of Celina, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brothers Richard & Karen Ross of Wabash, Frank Ross of Celina, sister Virginia & Bill Brown of St. Marys. James was an Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He was employed by Tom Slusher and retired from Telecommunications in 2002. He was a member of the Lighthouse Fellowship Church in Celina, a life member of the V.F.W. Post #5713 in Celina, a member of the American Legion Post #210 in Celina and a member of the Fratenal Order of Eagles Grand Lake Aerie No. 1291. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday Feb. 18, 2012 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Tony Richmond officiating.
