James W. "Bill" Nash , age 84 of 1109 Teaberry Ln. Celina, Ohio passed away at 6:30a.m. on Monday July 9, 2012 at the Celina Manor Nursing Home in Celina. James was born on May 26, 1928 in Celina, Ohio to the late Clifton & Catherine ( Murray) Nash. On Feb. 5, 1950 he married Phyllis Raudenbush, who lives in Celina. Also surviving are his daughters & son-in-law Deborah & Michael Borns of Celina, Vicki & Jerry Weisman of Celina, Cindy & Dan Hembree of Celina. 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and his sister-in-law Janis Nash of Gahanna, Ohio. James was preceded in death by his brother Clifton J. Nash, sisters & brothers-in-law Ruth & Chuck Clogher, Dorothy & Delbert Ott, and Margot & Jack Davis. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was formerly employed at Goodyear Tire & Rubber in St. Mary, the Celina Police Department, the Celina Fire Department, Deputy Sherriff for Mercer County and retired from the Mercer County Engineers Office. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina and the N.R.A. Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m. on Thursday July 12, 2012 at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church, with Pastor Jeff Conrad officiating. Burial will follow in North Grove Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 2-8p.m. on Wednesday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
