James A. Jacobs

James A. Jacobs, age 59, of Coldwater, died on Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Lima. He was born March 4, 1958 in Celina to the late Arthur & Sonia (Clark) Jacobs. He married Susan (Baumer) on October 1, 1977 and she survives in Coldwater. He is also survived by children, Amy Jacobs & Harry Hahn of Celina, James Jacobs Jr. of Coldwater, Sara Jacobs & Bruce Kuhn of Celina, Brandy Coleman of Coldwater and Joseph Jacobs & Tanya Braun of Rockford; twelve grandchildren; siblings Deb & Don Gross of Coldwater, Teresa & Jeff Griswold of Celina, Tammy & Carl Truesdale of Celina, and Mary & Darrel Conkel of Celina; in-laws Roger Baumer of Minster, Linda & George Reier of Sidney and Judy & Mike Monnier of Sidney. He is also preceded in death by a brother Alan Jacobs; a sister Elaine Sparks; parents-in-law Julius & Emma Baumer and in-laws Marilyn & Lavern Bruns and Nick Baumer. He was a social member of the Celina V.F.W. and worked at Ohio Recycling in Chickasaw. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing horseshoes. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
