James C. Broeker

James C. Broeker, age 81, of Coldwater, died on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at his home. He was born May 1, 1936 in Coldwater to the late Anthony & Marie (Rammel) Broeker. On November 24, 1962 he married Patricia A. (Redman) Broeker who survives in Coldwater.  He is survived a daughter Kimberly & Roger Hess of Coldwater; a son Michael Broeker of New Weston; six grandchildren, spouses and future spouses: Gina, Jena & Bobby, Marla & Keith, Taylor & Aaron, Molly and Troy; siblings, Ralph & Mary Jo Broeker, Cyril & Maryann Droesch, and Leroy & Carolyn Broeker; in laws Don May, Chuck & Susie Redman and Barbara Hein. He is preceded in death by siblings, Delores May and Dorothy & Victor Billerman. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and worked as a Professional Civil Engineer & Surveyor. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Friday July 28, 2017 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Friends may call from 3 to 8 PM on Thursday and 9 to 10 AM on Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
