James C. Bettinger, age 50, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Monday, January 7, 2013 in Van Wert County. He was born August 10, 1962 in Coldwater, to Cletus and the late Norma (Frantz) Bettinger, his father survives in Coldwater. On August 25, 1984, he married Judy (Wendel), and she survives in Coldwater. He is also survived by three children, Brandon & Sara Bettinger of Maysville, Kentucky, Jessica Bettinger of Columbus and Courtney Bettinger of Coldwater, a brother, Mike & Cathy Bettinger of Coldwater, and a sister, Lisa & Dave Albers of Midland, Michigan. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, the Coldwater Knights of Columbus Council 1991, had a love of the outdoors and was a talented artist. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Saturday, January, 12, 2013 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio. Burial with military rites will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
