James R. Ahrns

James R. Ahrns age 80 of Minster, Ohio died at 2:00AM on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Joint Township Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. He was born on January 28, 1935 in Minster to the late Richard & Julena (Sautman) Ahrns. He is also survived by children Mary Jo & David Stilwell, Mendon, James R. Jr. & Deb Ahrns, Centerville, Patti & Gary Williams, Knoxville, TN, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, brothers, Ed Ahrns, & Dick & Janice Ahrns, sister-in-law Bonnie Ahrns, all of Minster. He was preceded in death by brother John Ahrns, infant sister Helen Ahrns & sister-in-law Marilyn Ahrns and great granddaughter Thea Rose Schmitt. He was a member of St. Augustine Church, Minster and retired from Minster Machine after over 40 years. As to Jim's wishes his body was donated to science. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, March 2, 2015 St. Augustine Catholic Church Minster with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Friends may call at the St. Augustine Church from 9AM until the time of service on Monday.
