Jack Monnin

Jack Monnin, age 55, of Troy passed away at 7:30 PM on July 21, 2018 at his home in Troy. He was born in Russia, Ohio on July 13, 1963 to the late Linus J. & Rita (Knapke) Monnin. His mother survives in Troy. He is also survived by his son, Kyle, Indiana, brother & sisters: Sharon & Jeff Wampler, Tipp City, Doug & Karen Monnin, Troy, Della & Chris Steinke, Tipp City, Rena & Philip Miller, Tipp City, 13 nieces and nephews and special caregiver Courtney Turk.  He was a former member of St. Remy Church, Russia where he was a mass server.  He was a graduate of Russia High School where he competed in track and baseball.  He worked at Proctor and Gamble.  Jack enjoyed the outdoors, nature and loved NASCAR.  He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia with Rev. Martin Fox, Celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Russia on Tuesday, July 24 from 4 to 8 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00am.  Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
