Ivo P. Homan, age 80, of St. Henry, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Briarwood Village in Coldwater. He was born March 16, 1935, to the late August & Catherine (Braun) Homan. On November 17, 1956, he married Betty M. (Brunswick), who died July 19, 2013. He is survived by four children, Keith & Sue (Hoying) Homan of Celina, Brenda & Paul Rizor of Lima, Linda & Dave Vogel of St. Marys, and Craig & Amy (Uhlenhake) Homan of Celina, twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Mary Ann Luebke of Celina, Verena Goettemoeller of Rockford, Jim Homan of Coldwater and Luella & Eugene Reinhart of Bryant, Indiana, and in-laws, Jean Homan of Angola, Indiana, Joy Homan of St. Marys, Dianne & John Dippold of St. Henry, Larry & Mary Brunswick of Ormond Beach, Florida, Lonnie & Janice Brunswick of Monroe, Michigan and Leo Pohlmann of Maria Stein. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Robert Homan, Marvin & Mary Lou Homan, Lavern Homan, Harold & Luella Homan, Esther & Leonard Link, Alvira & Harry Massonne and Laura Ann Homan and in-laws, Alvin Luebke, Peck Goettemoeller, Thelma Homan, Mary Kay Brunswick and Lois Jean Pohlmann. He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry American Legion and Celina VFW. He worked for the former Mersman Tables, Celina from the age of 16 until 1990, excepting 2 years during which he served as a Specialist Third Class in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After leaving Mersmans, he worked at R & R Fabrications, St. Henry until his retirement. Ivo enjoyed gardening, carpentry and woodworking and truly enjoyed the company of his neighbors. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry. Burial with military rites will follow in St. Henry Cemetery.
