Ivo J Brackman

Ivo J. Brackman age 94 of Maria Stein, Ohio died at 12 noon on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at The Gardens of St Henry, Ohio.  He was born on February 25, 1927 in Maria Stein to the late Vincent & Rosa (Bohman) Brackman. He married Jean Brown on September 26, 1953 in Piqua, Ohio and she survives in St. Henry.  He is also survived by sons & daughters-in-law: Michael & Vicki Brackman, New Bremen, James & Kathy Brackman, Minster, John & Janet Brackman, Minster, David & Diana Brackman, Celina, 10 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren sister-in-law Barbara Brackman, Maria Stein.   He was preceded death by son Thomas Brackman, grandson Austin Brackman, brothers Richard Brackman and Victor & Julie Brackman, infant brother Linus and infant sister Maria, brother-in-law Thomas Brown.  He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, Maria Stein American Legion and Mercer County Elks.  He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War.  Ivo enjoyed golfing, boating, gardening, tending his fruit trees and attending sporting events, especially the Reds & Marion Local Flyers. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood.  Burial will take place in St. Martin Cemetery Osgood.
