Irmgard Elisabeth Lutzmann, age 86, of St. Charles Senior Living Center, Carthagena Ohio, died on Monday, January 09, 2012 at The Gardens at Celina, Ohio. She was born July 05, 1925 in Hamburg, Germany to the late Carl and Emma (Nawrotsky) Kohlmorgen. On October 27, 1945 she married H. Harald Lutzmann in Hamburg, Germany and he survives in Celina, Ohio. Irmgard is survived by a daughter Karen Mueller of Ft. Collins, CO, a son-in-law Paul & Claudette Frayer of Carthagena, Ohio, a brother Erwin & Marcella Kohlmorgen of Cincinnati, a sister-in-law Anneliese Lutzmann of Nordenham, Germany, a brother-in-law John Lutzmann of Mansonville Quebec and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by daughter Hilke Frayer, and two sons Ralph & Carl Lutzmann. She moved with her husband from Cleveland to Carthagena in May of 2011 to aid her husband's recovery from surgery and for a simpler life. She enjoyed walks outdoors, the rural community, and the St. Charles cats. She will be remembered for her unending strength in the face of adversity, her unconditional love for her family and friends, and her pure love of life (Lebenslust).
