Irma L. Wendeln

Irma L. Wendeln, age 86 of Sidney, Ohio, died at 10:27 PM on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Grandview Hospital, Dayton, Ohio.  She was born on February 26, 1936 in Osgood, Ohio to the late Edward L. & Pauline (Zimmerman) Ahrens.  She was preceded in death by her former husband Leo A. Wendeln on January 23, 1998.  She is survived by daughters: Diane & Jeff Cummins, Ludlow Falls, Brenda Frilling, Anna, Sandy & Jim Dembski, Sidney, 7 grandchildren: Scott, Stacy, Danielle, Christy, Michael, Cassie, Aaron, 10 great grandchildren, brother Robert Ahrens, Belmont, CA, sisters-in-law: Gail Wendeln, Mary Wendeln, Kay Wendeln.  She was preceded in death by son-in-law Gary Frilling, siblings, Velma & Al Davis, Ervin & Verlina Ahrens, Ginny Ahrens, Evie & Jerry Smith.  Irma was a former member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, and the former owner of Main Video in Fort Loramie.  She loved nature, her kitties and birds, but especially her spending time with her grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster with burial to follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Fort Loramie.
