Irma C. Hoying age 87 formerly of Minster, Ohio died at 12:35 PM on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Elmwood New Bremen. She was born on February 14, 1927 in Egypt Ohio to the late Clem & Ida (Bruns) Poeppelman. She married Fred J. Hoying on April 27, 1949 in Egypt, Ohio. He preceded her in death on August 18, 1994. She is survived by children: Donna & Jerry Winner, Minster, Dennis & Diane Hoying, Troy, Richard "Dick" & Linda Hoying, Minster, 10 grandchildren, Denise Hemmert, Suzanne Garcia, Scott Winner, Sara Russell, Emily Summa, Abigail Jones, Jenny Ernst, Jill Thompson, Jeff Hoying & Jana Hoying, 15 great grandchildren, brothers & sisters, Betty & Vernon Hoying, Ft. Loramie, Edith Poeppelman, Ft. Loramie, Mary Lou Oldiges, Beavercreek, Joan & Bill Schwieterman, Coldwater, brother-in-law Ivo Goettemoeller, Ft. Loramie, sister-in-law Phyllis Poeppelman, Egypt, in-laws Vernon & Betty Hoying, Ft. Loramie, Herbert Hoying Sidney, Lillian Zimmerman, Minster. Also Surviving are Step Brothers Carl & Vera Albers, St. Henry and Tom & Margaret Albers, Minster, Step Sister-in-law Angie Albers, Ft. Loramie, Step Brother-in-law Ben Holthaus, St. Patrick. She was preceded in death by brothers & sisters Dolores & Vernon Meyer, Shirley Goettemoeller, Clem Poeppelman & brother-in-law Ron Oldiges, in-laws Dorothy Hoying & Dick Zimmerman. Also Deceased are Step Siblings Ben Albers, Ruth Holthaus and Mary Poeppleman.

Irma was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Minster F.O.E. #1391, Ft. Loramie American Legion Auxilary & Knights of St. John Auxilary, Maria Stein. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her family, bowling, crocheting & fishing. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, June 2, 2014 and from 9:00 to 9:30 AM on Tuesday, June 3, 2014.
