Irene C. Schoenlein, age 71, of Coldwater, died Friday, August 22, 2014 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater. She was born November 5, 1942 in New Weston, to the late William & Alvina (Lefeld) Stammen. She married David Schoenlein on May 16, 1963 in Burkettsville, and he survives in Coldwater. She is also survived by two daughters, Brenda & Rolly Homan and Rita Fullenkamp, both of Coldwater, five grandchildren, Derek, Kyle, Rudy Homan and Dale, Norma Fullenkamp, all of Coldwater, two sisters, Della Mae Luebke of Coldwater and Rosella & Jim Cronin of York, Maine, three brothers, LaVern & Jean Stammen of Coldwater, George & April Stammen of Ft. Recovery and John & Linda Stammen of Coldwater, a sister-in-law, Betty Schoenlein of Ft. Recovery and brothers-in-law, Luke Schoenlein of Perrysburg and Jim Barga of Colon, Michigan. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Ann & Adam Esser, Ruth & Robert Platfoot, and Bernice Barga, parents-in-law, John & Regina Schoenlein and in-laws, Jim Schoenlein, Sr. Armella Schoenlein, and Jenny Schoenlein. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her grandchildren, spending time with family and friends and going to garage sales. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, August 25 at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
