Ida Lee (Godbey) Lair age 86 of New Bremen formerly of Winchester, KY fell asleep on April 9, 2013 and is waiting the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Ida was the last of nine children of George and Mary (Shindlebauer) Godbey. Ida was born in Lexington, KY on July 5, 1926. She was given the nickname of "Little Molly" by her grandmother. At the age of 4 her father died and Ida went to live in the Methodist Home in Versailles, KY. She was a charter member of Centenary Methodist Church, Lexington, KY. In February 1947 she married Henry Lair and he precedes her in death. She is survived by her 3 children, Kirby Lair, Winchester, KY, Mrs. Thomas (Brenda) Mullins, New Bremen, OH, Mrs. Craig (Annette) Marsh, Houston, TX, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who adopted her as their second mother. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, April 13, 20 at Winchester Cemetery, where Ida will be buried beside her mother and grandmother. Condolences may be made at
