Herbert Joseph Bruns, 75, formerly of Philothea, and a resident of Baytown, TX, died on June 27, 2014. He was born in St. Henry, OH on May 13, 1939 to Victor and Regina (Albers) Bruns. On December 1, 1962 he married Bette Craven who is deceased. On December 2, 1995 he married Lenora Harryman who survives in Baytown. Surviving are sons, Robert (Teresa) Bruns, Holland, MI; John Bruns, Albuquerque, NM; and Paul Bruns, Albuquerque, NM; step-daughter, Cara Patton; step-son, Michael (Shawanda) Aymes; grandchildren, Samuel, Jacob, Molly, and Sophie Bruns; and step-grandchildren, Mason, Amanda, and Shalley Aymes; a sister Dorothy Bruns, St. Henry, and brother-in-law James Yeager, Jacksonville, FL. Deceased are siblings, Rita (Gene) Dues, Paul (Rita) Bruns, David (Susannah) Bruns, and Mary Yeager. He graduated from Coldwater High School in 1957, International Business College, Ft. Wayne, IN, and the University of Albuquerque, NM. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a practicing C.P.A. for TLC Corporation in Houston before retirement. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Baytown, TX. Visitation is 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8th at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea, with burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Condolences may be made at
