Helen M Barhorst age 91 of Barbara Ave. Minster, Ohio passed away at Heritage Manor Nursing Home on Saturday August6, 2011. She was born July 25, 1920 in Ft. Loramie, Ohio to the late Joseph & Bernadine (Drees) Henke. She married Delbert F. Barhorst on January 3, 1945. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2002. She is survived by children Wanda Barhorst, Minster, Gerald & Linda Barhorst, Versailles, Ohio, grandchildren Tony & Jeff Spires, Jon, Chris, Amanda & Bryon Barhorst. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers & sisters Chris, August, William Julius, Bernard & Leo Henke, Anna Mescher, Agnes Knapke, Bernadine Gariety. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Ft. Loramie, Ohio, Ft. Loramie American Legion Aux. and she was a noted Water Dowser. She worked at Ft. Loramie Schools and retired from Coldway Foods Exp. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, Ohio with Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, Minster. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home from 2-8 PM Tuesday & from 9 AM until service time.
