Harold D. Brackman, age 78, of 401 E. Sycamore St, Coldwater OH, died 08:05 PM on Friday, November 04, 2011 at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, Ohio. He was born April 20, 1933 in St. Joseph, Ohio to the late Willibald and Marcella (Omlor) Brackman. On July 07, 1962 he married Alberta (Nietfeld) and she survives in Coldwater, Ohio. Harold is survived by a son and daughter-in-law David & Carrie Brackman of Mason, Ohio, two grandchildren Mark & Adam, two brothers Virgil & Mary Dean Brackman of Portland, IN and Ralph Brackman of Coldwater, Ohio and one sister Ceilie & Herman Albers of Ft. Loramie, Ohio. He is preceded in death by a sister-in-law Joann Brackman. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio. Served in the US Army for 3 years and became a Chief Weapons Electronics Assembly Specialist and received the National Defense Service Medal. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, November 09, 2011 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio with Fr. Les Schmidt, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater Ohio. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
